The Toy for Tots Drop Boxes are now available to collect new and unwrapped toys. There are three boxes on campus: one is located in the Administration Building, in the Provost suite, another one is in the Student Bookstore, Barnes & Noble (RUC), and the third one is outside the Campus Involvement Hub. Don't forget to donate and make someone's holiday season brighter!
We are grateful for the selfless service you have given and are honored to help you in the pursuit of your educational goals.
Veteran Services mentors students as they progress through their college endeavors. The Veterans Services team is led and staffed by military veterans who are here to support you and help navigate any issues you may encounter. We are trained to disseminate information concerning the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefit programs and to make referrals to appropriate university professionals to facilitate a smooth transition in relation to your academic endeavor.
We sponsor programs, especially for veterans, including veteran resume workshops, veteran study groups, and many others.
Veteran Affairs Certification
The University of Michigan-Dearborn Veteran Affairs Checklist is your starting point to establish your VA Education Benefits.
Veterans Services works in harmony with the Office of the Registrar to ensure the proper administration of military and veteran education programs and enrollment certifications. Visit the Veteran Affairs Certification page for more information about various VA Education Benefits. In the "THIS SECTION" menu information from initiating benefits to handling deployment can be found.
Once registered for classes complete the VA Certification Request Form. VA Benefits must be requested each semester you plan to use benefits.
