Admissions Criteria
Like other applicants, homeschooled students are required to submit proof of graduation (diploma or passing GED scores) prior to enrollment.
Recommended Curriculum
Homeschooled students are encouraged to complete a similar sequence of courses as the State of Michigan's Merit Curriculum. This ensures that students are appropriately prepared for the coursework and faculty expectations at UM-Dearborn.
Credit for College Coursework
Often, homeschooled students have taken college courses that are used to earn a high school diploma. These credits will be included on the student's Degree Works account, which will indicate how these courses transfer to UM-Dearborn.
