Career Services at UM-Dearborn assists students and alumni by offering events and services to help connect them with employers. We offer a full spectrum of services to accommodate employers of all sizes and industries, from federal and non-profit to entrepreneurial enterprise and international manufacturing corporations serving students and alumni from all majors!

The University of Michigan-Dearborn is part of the 12twenty network, known to students as Career Connections. If you are not yet recruiting through 12twenty, we encourage you to create a profile and start posting opportunities for UM-Dearborn students and alumni. If you are already a part of the 12twenty national network, we welcome you to post your employment opportunities.
Involvement Opportunities for Employers
Your organization will have the opportunity to provide career and employment information to students seeking co-op/internship opportunities, part-time or summer professional positions, as well as full-time professional employment for graduating students and alumni.
Career Services hosts multiple Career Fairs each year:
- Fall Career Fair on 10/3
- Spring Career Fair
- Federal and Nonprofit Career Fair on 10/24

UM-Dearborn Career Services is committed to providing students and employers with the opportunity to engage with each other to learn and network. We encourage employers to interact and get to know our students! If your organization would like to enhance your connections with our students, we offer a variety of opportunities and are open to new suggestions.
- Employer Spotlight Information Sessions: This series of hour-long in-person or virtual sessions helps students connect with organizations to learn more about skills required in the workforce, upcoming job and internship opportunities, tips and tools to assist in their job search, and more...
- Workshops: We welcome employers to speak to our students about resumes, interviews, job applications, and more...
- Employer Days: A half or a full day full of events dedicated to your organization (employer panel, networking, lunch & learn, workshops, etc.)
- Alumni and Student Networking Nights: Help our students develop professional relationships with Wolverines in the workforce by joining us for networking events. Students from all majors participate, and these conversations encourage students to become more comfortable and provide opportunities for learning
- Company Tours: If you are interested in hosting our students for an in-person or virtual tour of your company
