Campus Involvement Hub

The Campus Involvement Hub (CIH) creates an inclusive and accessible environment that provides meaningful and diverse learning and involvement opportunities to impact student success. Students will gain a sense of self and strong leadership skills, while becoming responsible and engaged citizens in their community.

In addition to providing a vast array of resources to all of the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s 100+ student organizations, the CIH is a focal point for students wishing to become involved and is staffed by a team of student leaders who are extensively trained in connecting students to involvement opportunities and providing student organization consultation services.

Located in the University Center, Room 1290, the Campus involvement Hub is open five days per week with late night hours convenient for student organizations and students.

The Campus Involvement Hub will be available in-person and virtually for the Fall 2021 semester to students interested in getting connected to involvement opportunities and student organization resources.

Student Organization Mailboxes

Student Organizations can have a mailbox during the Fall and Winter semester each academic year. If you would like a mailbox, complete the mailbox application form, or you can contact us at and we will help you get a mailbox for your organization.

Additional Information:
Mail must be checked at least once a week, or it may be returned to sender if the box becomes too full.

Involvement Consultations

The Campus Involvement Hub (CIH) is a resource to all students here at UM-Dearborn to get them engaged and become integrated in our campus community. The CIH staff is trained to help connect interested students with organizations and activities tailored to their interests and previous involvement. Stop by the University Center, Room 1290 or email for more information or to schedule an involvement consultation appointment.

Workshop & Training Requests

If you are interested in scheduling a workshop or training for your student organization on topics including conflict management, member recruitment/rentention, mission/vision audit, and organization finances, please contact the or submit a request below.

Commuter Student Hourly Cubby Rentals

Cubbies are available in the Campus Involvement Hub. Cubbies are available for day use only and personal belongings cannot be left in day them overnight.

Resource Room Supplies & Equipment Rental

Need an exciting board game for an event or a hammock for an outdoor adventure? We've got you covered! Registered students and student organization members are able to utilize supplies offered by the Office of Student Life and the Campus Involvement Hub 7 days a week.  To check out items, head over to the Campus Involvement Hub and let the Involvement Ambassadors know what you need.

Meet the Campus Involvement Hub Staff

The Campus Involvement Hub Staff are a team of dedicated and diverse trained paraprofessionals who oversee the Office Management and Student Organization Consultant functional areas within the Office of Student Life (OSL). Their primary responsibility is to assist current and incoming students in getting connected to involvement opportunities that best match their interests and goals.  These student leaders are committed to serving as a resource for students that are looking for opportunities to get involved as well as supporting student organizations on campus.

The Campus Involvement Hub Staff offer one-on-one consultations to students looking to get involved in an organization, group consultations to students looking to start a new organization, and workshops for established organizations. The Campus Involvement Hub Staff manage outreach on behalf of the Office of Student Life, creating and sharing content on social media and assisting with marketing of programs and events.
