Campus Involvement Hub
The Campus Involvement Hub (CIH) creates an inclusive and accessible environment that provides meaningful and diverse learning and involvement opportunities to impact student success. Students will gain a sense of self and strong leadership skills while becoming responsible and engaged citizens in their community.
In addition to providing a vast array of resources to all of the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s 180+ student organizations, the CIH is a focal point for students wishing to become involved and is staffed by a team of student leaders who are extensively trained in connecting students to involvement opportunities and providing student organization consultation services.
Located in the University Center, Room 1290, the Campus Involvement Hub is open five days per week.

Student Organization Consultations are one-on-one meetings between you and a Student Organization Consultant to help you find opportunities to get involved on campus like student organizations, volunteering, and more! These are a great option for first-year students, students who have transferred to UM-Dearborn, or any student who is looking to get more engaged in the campus community.

If you are interested in scheduling a workshop or training for your student organization on topics including conflict management, member recruitment/retention, mission/vision audit, and organization finances, please contact the [email protected].
The Campus Involvement Hub has a variety of outdoor games that students may borrow for an organization event or simply to enjoy with friends during a break in between classes. Available games include giant Jenga, Kan Jam, giant Connect Four, ladder ball, and more! Outdoor blankets are also available to rent during the CIH's open hours.
Student Organizations and campus departments can reserve outdoor games and blankets.
Please note: You will need your UMID to borrow equipment.
Along with outdoor games, the CIH also has a variety of board games available for students to rent to spice up an organization meeting or simply enjoy a friendly game with classmates.
