Wolverine Welcome Day and Go Blue Bash
This day represents the inaugural convocation tradition, including addresses from esteemed UM-Dearborn leaders, engaging workshops, the “Hail to the Victors” hoorah, campus tour, community photo, and the official ‘key’ ceremony to symbolize new Wolverines coming/being home!
This week-long celebration invites alumni, current students, faculty, staff and their families to participate in exciting events. These include favorites such as the Cardboard Boat Races, Pep Rally, the Homecoming Tailgate, Homecoming Dance and Men's Ice Hockey game!
To commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., our campus proudly hosts a week of programs and events dedicated to honoring the memory of this great American Icon each year. Volunteers from across campus and the surrounding community come together to lend a helping hand and inspire long lasting and positive change throughout the Metro Detroit area, supporting local community agencies in fulfilling their valuable missions.

Winter Involvement Fair
This celebration serves as both a welcome back for students, faculty, and staff, as well as an easy way to check out the over 120 ways to get involved. We know…120 seems like a lot…but find your one or two things to get involved with and you’ll be just fine!
Global Fest is an annual tradition held in March that uses food, music, entertainment and interactive activities to experience and celebrate cultural diversity on our campus. Together with all of the cultural and ethnic student organizations, the Center for Social Justice and Inclusion provides an insight into global awareness and cross-cultural education. It is a flagship program that is made successful via student organization support and energy.
