Programs

Our programs help our campus community improve sustainability related skills and knowledge, reduce waste, and conserve energy. They offer opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and community to play a role in protecting the environment with the vision of achieving a more equitable future for all.

Planet Blue Ambassador program leads are working with Eclipse Glasses USA to collect solar eclipse glasses that will be sent to Latin America, where school children can use them to watch the August 2024 eclipse. Your glasses can brighten their experience!

To participate, drop off your store-bought eclipse glasses at the Recycling Hub for Special Items, which is in the lobby of the Mardigian Library, OR at the Environmental Interpretive Center.

If you’re not on campus, you can mail your eclipse glasses to Planet Blue Ambassador at 625 East Liberty, Suite #300, Ann Arbor, MI, 48104.

Please donate your glasses by April 30 to ensure they are delivered in time!
