Get Involved

Your vision and leadership can help UM-Dearborn continue its legacy of excellence, so get involved.

Alumni Groups – strengthen the relationship and engagement opportunities between the University of Michigan-Dearborn, its alumni, students and campus community.  The alumni affiliate groups work on specific projects and events throughout the year.  These activities may vary year to year but much of the work is done through ad hoc committees.

Mentoring Programs - share your knowledge with students through alumni mentoring opportunities, including face-to-face discussions, group settings or through online connections.  Students learn valuable information from our alumni mentors on career and professional development, and about maximizing their academic experience.

Networking - assist with planning or provide day of event support for programs and events held throughout the year. Opportunities include participating in planning committees, being guest speakers for programs, and general assistance at activities.

Professional and Educational Development opportunities (Student and Alumni) – work with the Alumni Engagement Office, individual college program or Career Services in a variety of activities that help promote educational or professional development for students and alumni.
