The Robert Husak Memorial Scholarship I & II
Description
The Robert Husak Memorial Scholarship I provides a $3,000 tuition award (over four semesters)
for students studying for an undergraduate degree in computer and information science or
software engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science of the University of
Michigan‐Dearborn.
The Robert Husak Memorial Scholarship II provides a $2,000 tuition award (over four semesters)
for students studying for an undergraduate degree in computer and information science or
software engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science of the University of
Michigan‐Dearborn.

$2,000 - $3,000 over 4 semesters
Eligibility requirements
- Husak Scholars are required to enroll full‐time (12 credits or higher) in Computer and Information Science or Software Engineering.
- The Robert Husak Memorial Scholarship is awarded for the use during the Fall and Winter semesters only.
- After completion of the first year, the Robert Husak Scholarship I is renewable for one year for the scholar who maintains a cumulative grade point average of 2.75, continues to be enrolled in a College of Engineering and Computer Science degree program (Computer and Information Science or Software Engineering), and fulfills the standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the Office of Financial Aid.
- This scholarship cannot be transferred to other colleges or universities.
- CECS scholarship recipients are expected to attend the school’s annual donor/scholar recognition dinner. The event is generally held on campus in the fall on a weekday evening. You will receive an invitation.
