The Planet Blue Ambassador Program is your entry point to sustainability at UM-Dearborn. The program is designed to cultivate community that is rooted in wellness, environmental justice, activism, and environmental stewardship. To be a Planet Blue Ambassador (PBA) is to be a leader in working toward sustainability at UM-Dearborn and beyond. All faculty, staff, students, and alumni are welcome to join! Complete the self-paced training to become a certified Planet Blue Ambassador, or sign up for a live group training.

These events provide the perfect opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, learn repairing skills, and even relieve food insecurity for UM-Dearborn students. All produce grown in the PBA Garden Plots is donated to the Student Food Pantry!

Summer Community Garden Volunteering Days are every other Thursday, 11am-1pm. Upcoming Dates:

• July 9 (we had to skip July 2 due to heat)
• July 16
• July 30
• August 13

Participation in this event can also counts toward earning the Excellence in Sustainability graduation cord as well as the Volunteer Service Cord. We hope to see you there 🌤️🌱🐝

Project Protect Avian Travel (PAT) empowers community members to document and report bird collisions, building a dataset that is actively guiding funding efforts toward window treatments at high-risk hotspots.
