Homecoming was A-Maizing!

Alumni from throughout the decades and across the colleges came back to the university to hail our UM-Dearborn Victors and celebrate all things Maize and Blue! Team Alumni defeated Team Students for the third year in a row, in the Maize and Blue Bowl! Our Alumni Difference Makers were surrounded by family and friends as they received their awards. The Golden Jubilee classes of 1962-68 reminisced and shared stories of the early years on campus. And students, staff and alumni all came together at the Alumni Territory Tailgate and Homecoming football game in Ann Arbor! Click on the links to see photos!

Mark your calendars for Homecoming 2019 (October 2-5) and join in on this annual Fall time tradition!

Global Glass: A Survey of Form and Function

The exhibition, which was featured at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts last year, surveys important artists and works created from the mid-1960s to the present.  Global Glass examines both functional glass objects and pure sculptural forms that have often taken cues from other fine arts media and movements in the U.S. and internationally.  Among the 56 artists represented are glass giants Harvey Littleton, Howard Ben Tré, Dale Chihuly, Ann Robinson, and Kate Vogel.

Talent Gateway Alumni/Student Networking

Wednesday, March 20, 2019
The Office of Alumni Engagement and the Talent Gateway invite you to engage with students at our Alumni/Student Networking Night. The Talent Gateway puts students in control and prepares them with the skills and experiences to be career-ready. We encourage students to take initiative, venture outside their comfort zone, connect with the experts in their field, and gain new skills...all while practicing creative ways to be agile, resilient, and able to re-invent themselves throughout their careers. Join us for a night of networking and mentoring conversations between UM-Dearborn alumni and students from a variety of fields.

Mentoring Program

Share your knowledge with students through alumni mentoring opportunities, including face-to-face discussions, group settings or through online connections.  Students learn valuable information from our alumni mentors on career and professional development, and about maximizing their academic experience.  Opportunities to speak with students are held various times throughout the year.  Complete the Volunteer Interest form or contact the Office of Alumni Engagement at or 313-593-5131 for more information.
