Teaching
The Active Learning Classroom (ALC) is designed for collaborative teaching methods and techniques.
The Center for Academic Innovation provides online teaching resources in Ann Arbor.
Resources for Canvas resources, video resources, Turnititn, and campus policies.
Use this form for reserving materials, support with student research skills, or suggesting materials for the library to purchase at the Mardigian Library.
Resources for instructional design support, curriculum redesign, engaged teaching resources, creative teaching fund grants and more.
The charge of the Open Education Committee (OEC) is to explore, learn about, and support all things Open in the disciplines and fields in higher education. This includes Open Educational Resources (OERs) as well as Open Pedagogies and Open Practices.

Research & Scholarship
Campus Grants assists faculty with pre- and post-award support, research development, resources for funding, and internal grand awards.
The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) is a nationally recognized, independent organization that provides online career development and mentoring resources for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students.
NCFDD’s core curriculum focuses on the development of key skills and strategies that lead to academic success. Training is available to members that establish and develop success habits which include:
- Semester planning
- Aligning time with priorities
- Developing a consistent daily writing practice
- Mastering academic time management
- Moving from resistance to writing
- Learning the art of saying “no”
- Cultivating a networks of mentors, sponsors, and collaborators
- Overcoming academic perfectionism
- Engaging in and resolving conflict in a healthy way
- Strategies for dealing with stress and rejection

The Faculty Research Guide at the Mardigian Library assists with scholarly profiles, citations management, OA publishing discounts, impact metrics, and more.
Ethics and compliance in research covers a broad range of activity from general guidelines about conducting research responsibly to specific regulations governing a type of research (e.g., human subjects research).
The SURE Program supports research projects that include undergraduates in the summer.

The Provost Fellows program of the University of Michigan-Dearborn provides faculty members with an opportunity to experience both the challenges and rewards of administration in higher education.
