Computer Labs
ITS maintains computer labs across campus:
1st and 2nd floors of Mardigian Library, 1180 HPEC, & 190 FCS These labs are open to all students at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, without regard to school or program. Public collaboration areas are located on the first and second floors of the Mardigian Library.
- With your uniqname and UMICH password, you can login to University systems, access the Internet, and utilize a large suite of software products available for your academic pursuits.
- Students are expected to comply with University policies and follow ITS guidelines on responsible use of computing resources. For more information see Rules of Conduct and Policies.
- Software applications are available through the AppsAnywhere portal.
Adaptive Learning Lab and Software
Located adjacent to the Service Desk on the first floor of Mardigian Library, ITS provides two standard lab computer workstations, and a cctv magnifier. Access to these computers are provided by Disability and Accessibility Services (DAS). In addition to the standard software products, all labs supported by ITS have available for download JAWS, ZoomText and Read and Write Gold from the Software Center.
Scanning
Dedicated computer workstations and scanners are located on the 1st and 2nd floor of ML, 1180 HPEC & 190 FCS labs.
Forgot Passwords
If you do not know your kerberos password, you can reset it yourself if you have previously provided account recovery information. If not, you can phone or chat with the ITS Service Center for help.
