The Key Policy applies to requests for key access to any University of Michigan-Dearborn facility or area/room located therein.
The Department of Facilities Operations is responsible for the overall administration of campus access.

Access Requests
Each department has an assigned Department Access Coordinator (DAC). The DAC manages all MCard and Key Requests for the department, as well as all locksmith requests, according to the DAC Standard Operating Procedures. Please contact the DAC listed for your department to begin the request process.
Once the request has been received and approved by Facilities Operations, the Requester will receive an email within five (5) business days that access has been added to their MCard, or that their key is ready for pick-up at the Facilities Operations Front Desk. Please do not stop by prior to receiving the email as the key(s) will not be ready for pick-up.
Access Issues
For MCard and key issues, contact your DAC. To report damaged or malfunctioning MCard Readers or door locks/hardware, enter an AiM Customer Request or contact the Facilities Operations Call Center at 313-593-5270.
