Surveys & Reports
In spring 2017 UM-Dearborn employed a third-party, independent research company to conduct two surveys on our campus. The first survey was administered to faculty, staff and students to measure the diversity, equity and inclusion climate on campus. The second survey was administered to students to measure the prevalence of sexual misconduct effects on our students.
A working group of faculty, staff and students has reviewed the survey results and has provided insights into the findings and suggestions as to how to best communicate the findings to the campus community.
The University of Michigan-Dearborn will partner and engage with faculty, staff and students to develop a data-driven strategy to address areas in the reports identified for improvement. Methods may include further data analysis, focus groups, listening sessions, strategic planning sessions and training sessions to continuously seek to improve and update our initiatives in response to the survey findings.

Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report
The Annual Security Report contains Crime Statistics for the Main Campus and Fairlane Center. It can be found on Crime & Safety Data webpage and as a downloadable version.
Our website and this Annual Security Report (ASR) report contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to safety and security on campus. This report also contains information about crime statistics from the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University of Michigan-Dearborn; and on public property within campus boundaries, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
