The Equity, Civil Rights and Title IX Office (ECRT) facilitates and supports the University's efforts to ensure equal opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, religion, height, weight, or veteran status in employment, educational programs and activities, and admissions.
- We provide a neutral process for responding to complaints of discrimination and discriminatory harassment and sexual and gender-based misconduct. You may file an online report if you wish.
- We provide information, consultation, educational programs and resources to the University community with regard to diversity, inclusion, prevention of discrimination and discriminatory harassment, affirmative action, equal opportunity and accessibility matters
- We offer individual consultation with University managers, supervisors, staff, faculty, students, and administrators on these topics
- We are responsible for overseeing and supporting the University's compliance efforts in the areas of equal opportunity, affirmative action, prevention of discrimination and discriminatory harassment, and compliance with all applicable State and Federal civil rights laws
