Resources for Students
The University maintains a website with information and resources for students who parent. Students may have specific pregnancy or parenting-related needs or requests that can be arranged by working directly with their instructors. Resources for Employees
University employees may request reasonable accommodations related to pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions. The University has a policy on Paid Maternity (Childbirth) and Parental Leaves. Lactation rooms are available on campus for use by students, faculty and staff of the University of Michigan-Dearborn who are breastfeeding. Students Who Parent maintains a list of available sites.
