The University offers a respectful and inclusive environment that prohibits discrimination and discriminatory harassment on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.  If you are have a concern about discrimination or discriminatory harassment on these bases, you may file an online report or contact ECRT at 313-436-9194 or [email protected] about your concern.  

Resources for Students

The Center for Social Justice & Inclusion (CSJI) located in 2170 James C. Renick University Center facilitates programs, events, and other support services for all interested students, as well as workshops and trainings for the campus at large to learn more about gender and sexuality. The CSJI hosts several signature programs every year, such as the annual LGBTQ+ Fall Mixer, National Coming Out Day/Week, Transgender Day of Remembrance, Lavender Graduation, and the annual Drag Show. Check their website to see all of the events they host throughout the year.
