Virtual Transfer Admission Information Sessions
Join us to learn about becoming a Dearborn Wolverine! There will be an informational presentation about transferring to UM-Dearborn as well as a question & answer session. Come see why the University of Michigan-Dearborn is a great transfer destination.
This information session is designed for students who have not yet been admitted to the University of Michigan-Dearborn. If you are already an admitted Transfer Student, please visit our Admitted Student website for more information related to your next steps and Orientation.
Meet with a Transfer Specialist
You’ll have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with an Admissions Transfer Specialist during a scheduled appointment. You'll be able to have your transcripts evaluated, create transfer plans, learn about the admissions process, and ask questions about UM-Dearborn!
- Go to the Admissions Navigator
Click the Sign Up button. - Enter Your Information
Provide your preferred first name, last name, and email address. Then, select the “I’m not a robot” checkbox and click Submit. - Check Your Email
You will receive an email with the subject line “UM-Dearborn’s Online Application Username and Password Setup.” Open the email and click the link to set your new password. - Reset Your Password
On the password reset page, click Reset Password. - Create Your New Password
Enter your new password (must include both letters and numbers) and confirm it by entering it again. Then, click Save. - Log In to the Admissions Navigator
Once your password is saved, you will be automatically logged in.
- Go to the Admissions Navigator
Click the Sign In button. - Enter Your Information
Enter the email address and password you used to sign up for your account (instructions listed above), then click Submit. - Locate the “Meet with an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor” Section
Select the option that applies to your student type and academic college. - Answer Prompts on the Appointment Scheduler
Complete the prompts that ask for your Program, Purpose of Meeting, and preferred Appointment Mode (In-Person or Virtual). - Select an Available Appointment Time
Based on availability displayed on the calendar, select the time that works best for you, and confirm the appointment. - Check Your Email for Confirmation
An confirmation email with appointment details will be sent to the email used to login.
Virtual Walk-in Meetings
You can chat with an Admissions Transfer Specialist for up to 15 minutes. Please be advised that these are first-come, first-served and that you may experience a wait up to 15 minutes. Please check back for upcoming dates.
