Quick Help for Faculty
- Can't see a course or courses: Banner sends up-to-date information to Canvas multiple times per day, starting 8 weeks before the first day of the semester. Canvas course shells should be available to instructor(s) of record of a course within 24 hours of the instructor assignment in Banner.
- Receive a "no account found" error: This error is generally received by new faculty who have not been assigned as an instructor of record for any course yet. For new instructors who appear to be assigned as an instructor of record in Banner, please have your department admin contact the registrar's office to make sure the U-M uniqname and email address are attached to the instructor's Banner user profile.
- Password Problems: Please contact the ITS service desk for any username/password issues logging in to Canvas via U-M weblogin.
