This credential is perfect for individuals who have completed formal education in analytics but are lacking professional work experience. The aCAP designation is the first step toward earning the prestigious Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), the only ANSI-accredited certification for analytics professionals.

How It Works
Graduating students from the MS in Business Analytics program follow these simple steps to earn the aCAP credential:
- Request a Graduate Degree Verification Form
- Upon completing your coursework, contact Graduate Student Services to obtain this form.
- Register for the aCAP Pathway Program with INFORMS
- Submit your Graduate Degree Verification Form to INFORMS and pay the first-year membership fee of $119. (This fee is reimbursable by the College of Business).
- Complete the Online Data Ethics Course
- Fulfill this requirement through INFORMS to demonstrate your commitment to ethical standards in analytics.
- Earn the aCAP Credential
- Receive your Associate Certified Analytics Professional credential from INFORMS.
- Submit for Reimbursement
- Submit your aCAP certificate and membership receipt to the College of Business for reimbursement.
Important: Make sure to complete the process within 30 days after the end of your graduating semester.
