UM-Dearborn Private Scholarship Check Policy

Adams, Donna W. Scholarship
For students who graduated from eastside Detroit (east of Woodward Avenue) graduating from Detroit Public High Schools.  Applicants must  demonstrate desire, ability, good grades, and financial need. Deadline: May 1st.

Arab American Women's Business Council Scholarship  NEW!!!
The AAWBC established this scholarship fund to provide educational opportunities to females of Arab decent in the state of Michigan. Open to all disciplines and must demonstrate need and merit. Up to 5 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.  
Deadline: October 23rd.

AES Engineers Scholarship
Funded by the consulting firm of AES Engineers based on character demonstrated by completing one of the essay questions on their website.  Deadline is October 6th.

AICPA Scholarships for Minority Accounting Students
Provides awards to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as the major. Available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Successful progress in program of study with an emphasis on grade point average are important.

Abbott and Fenner Annual Scholarship
This annual scholarship awards a $1,000 scholarship for high school juniors and seniors as well as current college students  Deadline June15th.

Alumni LEAD
UM-Dearborn students have received from $2,500-$8,000 in scholarships towards tuition.t by the University of Michigan Alumni Association. The scholarship will be offered to a highly qualified, admitted student who can enhance diversity at the University of Michigan-Dearborn in terms of race, gender, ethnicity or national origin.

American Chemical Society
Scholarships are available to high school seniors and college students who are committed to the study of chemistry and related fields to encourage African-American, Hispanic and Native American students to pursue undergraduate degrees. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need. Students planning to pursue medical careers are not eligible.

Arab American Institute Scholarship
Scholarships awarded to qualified high school seniors or college students with special consideration given to mass communications majors. Applicants must be of Arab descent and U.S. citizens or U.S. residents, and must also be Michigan residents. Applicants must maintain full-time enrollment and have at least a 3.5 GPA. Financial need will be considered.

Arab American Scholarship Foundation Program
Scholarships valued at up to $3,000 are awarded to  full-time students with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average who are high school seniors or attending college (undergraduate and graduate) full-time.  Applicants must live in the state of Michigan and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Deadline is April 6th.

Arab American Women's Business Council Scholarship
Up to five scholarships are awarded to women of Middle Eastern descent.  Scholarships are available for high school and current college students (undergraduate and graduate)

Armstrong, Ethel Louise Scholarship Foundation
Scholarships target women with physical disabilities who are enrolled in a college or university graduate program in the United States.  Deadline is June 1st.

Asian American Journalists
Each year, AAJA offers scholarships to high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must show a commitment to journalism, sensitivity to Asian American issues as demonstrated by community involvement, journalistic ability, and financial need.

Anita Borg Memorial Google Scholarship
To encourage women to excel in computing and technology and become active role models and leaders. Candidates must be full-time, entering their senior year of undergraduate study or be enrolled in a graduate program, majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field majors.

ASCO Numatics Engineering College Scholarship
Two merit-based scholarships for U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines, as well as two $1,000 for the engineering departments of the colleges at which the winners are enrolled.  Deadline: March 31st

Best Price Nutrition & Health Scholarship
Best Price Nutrition is offering one scholarship for $1,000 for the completion of a survey.  Students must reside in the United States and must be currently enrolled as a full-time student.  Deadline: December 31st

Bigard, James R. Scholarship Fund
The Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation awards 5 scholarships of $500 to Michigan high school seniors accepted at a Michigan college or university, demonstrating financial need and will pursue a degree in teaching with the specialty in science.

Birmingham Unitarian Church Goldsmith Scholarship
Provides one renewable scholarship for the graduates of Pontiac High School and Pontiac Central and Northern High Schools.  Candidates should have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate leadership and financial need.

Brown, Ron Scholar Program
Provides at least 10 renewable scholarships to students who will make significant contributions to society with an emphasis on African-Americans. Applicants must excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential, make an impact on their communities through their service to others and demonstrate financial need.

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program
The GM Foundation provides renewable scholarships for full-time freshmen who will major in science, technology, engineering, math, business administration, finance, marketing or design.  Applicants should be interested in automotive or related industries.  Deadline is February 28th.

Canton Community Foundation
The Canton Community Foundation sponsors grants and scholarships for residents of Canton, Plymouth and Plymouth Township accepted at a post-high school educational institution. Additional requirements are specific to each award.

Casey Family Scholars
Scholarships are provided to young people, under the age of 25, who have spent at least 12 months in foster care and were not subsequently adopted.  The scholarships are awarded for post-secondary education, including vocational/technical training, and are renewable each year based on satisfactory academic progress and financial need.

CEO of Tomorrow
Scholarship for $2,500 awarded with a deadline of July 1st. Scholarship Program
Provides 5 different scholarship programs awarding $500 scholarship to any student pursuing an associate, bachelor or graduate degree.  Deadline is May 1st.

Console and Hollawell Legal Leaders Scholarship
he Console & Hollawell $1,000 Legal Leaders Scholarship is available to students who are pursuing a career in law. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the following areas: pre-law, paralegal studies, or working towards their juris doctorate in any concentration of the law.  Deadline: July 15th.

Construction and Engineering Scholarship
For students currently enrolled in engineering, construction or architecture related field and are pursuing higher education in respective areas.   Scholarship awards $1,000 and deadline is July 12th.

B. Davis Scholarship
The B. Davis Scholarship awards $1,000 scholarship to high school juniors and seniors and currently enrolled college students based on an essay, "Pick a controversial problem on high school or college/university campuses and suggest a solution".  Deadline: May 26th

DePaolis, Dick Memorial Scholarship
Provides a one-time scholarship of $500 for graduates of North Farmington High School who will major in liberal studies in college.

Detroit College Promise
Provides scholarships for all Detroit Public School graduates who reside in Detroit continuously through graduation and apply by December 1st of their ninth grade year.

Detroit Tigers Willie Horton Scholarship
Non-renewable scholarship awarded annually to a graduating senior at Northwestern High School in Detroit who demonstrates leadership and character as well as academic attainment.

Disability Awareness Scholarship
Applicants should submit an essay of 500-1000 words about how they or another person they know overcame a disability to do something great for a $1,000 scholarship.  Deadline: February 10, 2015. Scholarships
Provides a scholarship resource that rewards students who take roles in addressing important social issues with action: anti-bullying, helping homeless teens and domestic abuse survivors and improving the environment with simple steps.

Doss, Lawrence P. Scholarship
Provides five scholarships of $5,000 for up to four years for graduating seniors from Detroit Public Schools, pursuing a career in accounting, finance, management or business, record of community service, financial need and a commitment to return to Detroit for four years following graduation.

DutchCrafters Amish Furniture Heritage Scholarship
This scholarship program recognizes five undergraduate students who draw on their cultural heritage to shape their vocational aspirations, add creative value to their future employers and serve their communities.  Deadline is May 1st.

Eckert, Jeanne Scholarship: Taylor Garden Club
Scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior or college student who has chosen a career in environmental studies, conservation, botany, horticulture, or landscape design.

Gates Millennium Scholars Program
Selects 1,000 talented high school seniors each year to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice.  Students must be African-American, American-Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian/Pacific Islander or Hispanic who demonstrate strong academic skills and are Federal Pell Grant eligible.  Deadline is January 15th.

GIVA, INC. $1,000 Corporate Scholarship
All students, regardless of major, currently attending college at full- or part-time are encouraged to apply.  The award is tuition restricted.  Deadlines are June 1st and December 1st.

Grasshopper Entrepreneur Scholarship
Grasshopper awards one $5,000 scholarship for a student enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate degree program in the calendar year 2014.  Applicants must write an essay from 1,000-2,000 words on the topic of "What is your vision for the future of entrepreneurship and how will you contribute to making that happen?".  Deadline:  April 30th

Great Lakes National Scholarship Program
Great Lakes National Scholarship Program provides up to 750 scholarships of $2,500 to high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students.  Student must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75, demonstrate financial need, and major in math, natural science, biological or agriculture science, engineering and engineering technology or computer or information sciences.  Deadline is April 5th.

Goldberg, Daniel B. Scholarship
The Government Finance Officers Association awards an $11,000 to a full-time graduate student who is pursuing an advanced degree preparing for a career in state or local government finance.  Deadline:  February 21st.

Greathouse, Frank L. Government Accounting Scholarship
The Government Finance Officers Association offers two $6,000 scholarships to full- time undergraduates of at least junior standing or graduate students preparing for a career in state and local government finance.  Deadline February 21st.

Fulbright Scholar Program
The Fulbright Program is the U.S. governmentís flagship program in international educational exchange. Fulbright grants are made to U.S. citizens and nationals of other countries for a variety of educational activities, including university lecturing, advanced research, graduate study and teaching in elementary and secondary schools. Both U.S. and Visiting Scholars lecture or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields ranging from journalism and urban planning to music, philosophy, business administration, and zoology. Applications generally due a year in advance of program of study.

Gillman, Benjamin A. International Scholarship
The Gilman International Scholarship assists students who are studying abroad for at least four weeks in one country, who are U.S. citizen undergraduates, receiving Pell Grant during the study abroad.   Deadline is March 1 for Summer.

Google-SVA Scholarships
Student Veterans of America has partnered with Google that will award eight $10,000 scholarships for student veterans pursuing computer science or related degrees. Deadline is March 15th.

Great Lakes National Scholarship
Great provides support for up to 750 awards of $2,500 to help eligible students in a STEM major (science, technology, engineering or math).  Available to new and continuing students who are enrolled full-time with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship
High school seniors, undergraduate and graduate students may apply for a scholarship offered twice each academic year awarding $1,500.  Students must demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and demonstrate financial need.  Deadlines are October 15th (Fall Semester Award) and April 15th (Winter Semester Award.

Howard, Tony Scholarship
The Energy Education for Michigan, Inc. awards a renewable scholarship of $500 to full-time students who are Michigan residents demonstrating financial need and maintaining a minimum of a 2.5 GPA.  Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a course of study that will allow full-time employment in the crude oil or natural gas industry.  Deadline July 15th.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund offers different scholarship program for students of Hispanic heritage who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents for high school seniors, community college transfer students and students pursuing their first undergraduate or graduate degree.

Hoffa, James R. Memorial Scholarship Fund: International Brotherhood of Teamsters
High school senior dependents of eligible Teamster members must compete in one of the five geographic regions where the Teamster parentís local union is located. Thirty-one renewable awards of $2500 and sixty-nine one-time awards of $1000 are to be awarded. Eligibility requirements and application procedures are the same for all awards. Recipients are selected by an impartial committee of university admissions and financial aid directors based on academic achievement, SAT/ACT scores, character, potential, and financial need.

Holmes, Robert Scholarship
Applicants must be the dependents of eligible Michigan Teamsters and high school seniors who will attend a Michigan college or university in the fall as a full-time student. This is a one-time award.

Japanese-American Citizens League
Offers one-time scholarships in varying amounts of aid to active JACL members at all levels of study in educational institutions in the United States. Past recipients are eligible to apply for one additional award. Scholarships are available to high school students and current undergraduates.

Jebail, Bint Cultural Center
Offers up to 15 scholarships to high school students in Michigan.Good personal conduct, a minimum grade point average of 3.5, and must attend banquet dinner are criteria for eligibility. Contact: Bint Jebail Cultural Center, 6220 Miller Road, Dearborn, MI 48126, (313) 584-0011 to call for an application. Working Parent Scholarship Award
Designed to help working (at least 12 hours in the four weeks before application) parents (for a residential minor child) in college (full- or part-time) and must be 18 years old.  An essay outlining the three keys to successfully balancing parenthood, working and excelling in school.  Award of $1,000.  Deadline December 14th.

LSAT Preparation Course Scholarship Program
The firm of Warner, Norcross & Judd, LLP offers a scholarship of up to $1,500  to covert the LSAT Preparation Course offered by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions.  Candidates should be minority students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, demonstrated financial need who will take the LSAT prep course by December 1, 2014.

Latimer, Thomara Cancer
Scholarship awarded to qualified high school seniors or college students, enrolled in a medically related program of study; or to cancer survivors between the ages of 18-30, pursuing higher education at a college/university or a vocational/technical school. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA.

Leonard, Butcher and Smeltzer Scholarship Program
Renewable scholarship awarded to graduating seniors at John Glenn High School and Wayne Memorial High School.

Letendre Education Fund Scholarships   
One time scholarships for youth under 21 who are homeless or have experienced homelessness for $1,500 (not renewable).  Applicants may be high school seniors, enrolled in a GED or alternative education program, or college students with no more than two years of college.  Deadline is June 16.

Lobring, Virgil K. Scholarship Program
Scholarship awarded annually to the mostly improved student who has attended secondary school years at Western International High School in Detroit.

Michigan Council of Women in Technology
Sponsors scholarships for women pursuing a degree in a technology-related program in a Michigan college or university who demonstrate financial need. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and Michigan residents.

Michigan Oil & Gas Producers Education Foundation Scholarship
Sponsors a scholarship program for Michigan high school seniors accepted at a Michigan university or college, demonstrating financial need and majoring in a program that will allow them to obtain full-time employment in the crude oil and natural gas industry.  Scholarship amount is $500.  Deadline April 2nd.

Michigan Society of Professional Engineers
Multiple scholarships available for engineering students.

Mink, Patsy Takemoto Education Foundation
Targets low income women with children pursuing education or training at an accredited college or university.  Up to five $2,000 scholarships are provided.  Applications are available in April.

Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship
The Government Finance Officers Association awards two $6,000 to full- or part-time undergraduates of at least junior standing or graduate students enrolled in public administration (governmental) accounting, finance, political science, economics, or business administration (with a specific focus on government or non-profit management). The deadline is February 21st.

National Association of Black Journalists
The NABJ annually awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to African American college students who are interested in becoming journalists. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate an interest in some of the following ways: journalism degree program, staff position on school newspaper and/or work with campus television, radio, or web site. All scholarship winners must become a NABJ member.

National Merit Scholarship Competition
To participate in this national competition, students must take the PSAT/NMSQT no later than the third year in grades 9-12 and progressing normally in high school toward graduation with the plan to enter college no later than the fall following graduation. Participants must also be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (or have applied for permanent residency) and will seek to become a U.S. citizen at the earliest opportunity allowed by law.

National Scholars Honor Society
The society grants scholarships to qualified achievers from all academic pursuits who are new or current members of the society. Scholarship eligibility is determined for each applicant at the time of acceptance, and is reviewed biannually. The total number and amounts of scholarships granted are based upon funds available to the scholarship committee each academic year. Students apply online.

New Metropolitan Detroit Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club
Provides two scholarships of $1,000 to a student with grade point average of 3.0 or higher and enrolled in an accredited college or university.  Deadline is February 18.  For additional information, please contact newmetrobpw_college

Nielsen, George A. Public Investor Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to support the studies of full or part-time students interested in the efficient and productive investment of public funds. Graduate and undergraduate students majoring in public administration, finance, business administration or a related field are eligible to apply. Must be employed at least one year by a state or local government, or other public entity, and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada.

Nordstrom Scholarship Program
Will award 80 $10,000 ($2,500 over four years) to high school juniors who live in states where Nordstrom currently has a full-time store.  Grade point average and community service are considerations.  Deadline is May 1st.

Orchid Care Scholarship
Orchids Made Easy offers an annual orchid care scholarship to a qualified undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a program in Botany, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Conservation or a related field with an emphasis on orchids.  Three scholarships for $500 are offered.  Deadline: May 1st.

Ordonez Family Scholarship
Will award a renewable scholarship to high school seniors who are residents of southwest Detroit attending a southwest Detroit high school for their entire secondary education.  Students must demonstrate financial need.

Overseas Press Club
Scholarships are awarded to graduate and undergraduate students aspiring to become foreign correspondents. Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens. Recipients are expected to attend the Foundation scholarship luncheon in New York City in late January 2005.

Palmer, George L. Scholarship Program
Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating senior at Chelsea High School who will pursue post-secondary degree in a trade or vocation or an associate degree at a non-profit college or university.

Parks, Rosa Scholarship
Provides up to 40 non-renewable scholarships of $2,000 for seniors attending a public or private Michigan high school and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Pipe Dream Fund
Awards two to three $2,000 scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled at University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University or Washtenaw Community College who Polish nationals in the US with a visa, the children of Polish parents, are non-smokers and have a 3.0 GPA.  Deadline: August 1st.

(A) Place for Mom Senior Care Innovation Scholarships  
Five $1,000 scholarships are offered to students who are interested in gerontology and aging. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate student who are in a nursing, medical, or social sciences related major.  Deadline: April 15th.

Plante Moran Sons and Daughters Scholarship
Annual scholarship for the undergraduate dependents under 25 of P & M Holding Group, LLP.  Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  Both high school seniors and undergraduate college students may apply and receive the scholarship for up to two years.

Rand, Ayn Fountainhead Essay
The Fountainhead Essay Contest provides prizes ranging from $50 to $10,000 based on several topics about The Fountainhead. Entrants must be in 11th or 12th grade writing an essay of at least 800 to a maximum of 1,600 words.  Deadline is April 24th.

Rankin, Jeannette Foundation Grant
Grants are available for low-income women who are U.S. citizens, aged 35 or older, accepted to or attending an accredited college or university pursuing a first bachelorís degree. While financial need is a primary criterion, applicants must be able to articulate realistic goals and the ability to accomplish goals.

Recreational Boating Industries Educational Foundation (RBIEF)                                         RBIEF awards 10-15 scholarships ranging from $500-$1,500 to provide financial support to students pursuing careers in the boating industry.  Deadline March 15.

Rosenthal, Jean and Tom Scholarship Program
Two-year scholarship awarded annually to a senior at Pontiac High School who demonstrates leadership and character through community service.

Safe Driver Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship is available to students who participate qualifying safe driver programs who create a video, artwork, essay or other means to inspire other students to focus on safe driving.  An application is also required. Deadline is July 1st.

Sanders Firm Scholarship Award
The Sanders Firm recognizes students with a commitment to their communities through volunteer activites.  The $1,000 scholarship is available to undergraduate or law school students who hav demonstrated a meaningful commitment to their local community.  Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.  Applications are due by June 30th.

Schaefer, Miriam Scholarship: Michigan Council of Teachers of Mathematics
Non-renewable scholarships for junior or senior undergraduates in an elementary or secondary teacher education program with a mathematics specialty. Secondary education majors must have successfully completed the required calculus sequence. Elementary education majors must have at least a mathematics minor. Applicants must be a Michigan resident with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Schureman, Jeptha Wade
Applicants must be fatherless (defined as deceased or parental rights terminated by the court before reaching the age of majority. Must demonstrate need, maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and attend a Michigan public university with a program of study leading to medicine, dentistry, law or nursing.

Smith, Otis M. Scholarship
Applicants must be single mothers who are the residents of Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties and will attend Wayne State University, any campus of the University of Michigan or Catholic University Law School. Priority is given to full-time students but part-time students can also be considered. This award is not renewable but repeat applications are allowed.

Society of Women Engineers
Provides scholarships to women pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in ABET-accredited engineering programs, CSAB-accredited computer science programs and computer science at ABET-accredited colleges. With the exception of reentry students, all   students must be enrolled full-time.

Soroptimist Women's Opportunity Awards                                                                         Provides scholarships for women who are the primary support of their families, have financial need, reside in a member country and have not been a past recipient and are not a member, employee or a relative of either.  Deadline December 1.                                                  

Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber Scholarship
Applicants must be high school seniors in one of the 21 communities in the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber service area who will begin full-time college enrollment in the fall. This scholarship is renewable.

Southfield Legacy Scholarship Programs
Multiple scholarships for high school seniors who are residents of Southfield or Lathrup Village.  Deadlines range from April 1st to May 1st.

Stempel, Robert Scholarship
Awards a non-renewable scholarship for seniors at Cass Technical High School, Renaissance High School, Detroit School of Arts or University Prep High School who demonstrates potential for achievement in post-secondary science and engineering.  Students must demonstrate financial need and have a strong academic performance with a 3.0 grade point average or higher.

Sweet & Simple Scholarship 2015
Legal residents of the U.S. and District Columbia who are at least 13 years of age or enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution can be considered for a $1,500 scholarship by writing a short (250 words) essay on a specific topic.  Deadline: February 28th.

Thermaxx Engineering and HVAC Scholarship
The Themaxx Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate or pre-engineering students pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a GPA of at least 2.5.  Students must be full-time students and complete an essay answering the question, "What inspired you to become an engineer or a HVAC&R professional?"   Deadline: December 1st

Tillman Military Scholar
Provides a renewable scholarship for veterans and active duty service members (both pre-9/11 and post-9/11) from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and spouses of active or veteran service members and surviving spouses who seek an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate degree as a full-time students.  Candidates must demonstrate leadership and character as well as complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

U of M Downriver President's Scholarships
The U of M Downriver Alumni Association awards several President's Scholarships to outstanding permanent residents of Downriver students who have completed their freshman year at any of the three University of Michigan campuses.

UMGALAS Scholarships
The University of Michigan Gay and Lesbian Alumni Society (UMGALAS) awards two $500 scholarships to currently enrolled students at any campus of the University of Michigan.  Awards are made to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students who demonstrate leadership and support in activities that benefit the LGBT community.

Vespa, Enrico and Marie
Applicants must be eligible employees or the legal, custodial dependents of eligible employees of English Gardens Corporation who will attend an accredited school on at least a half-time basis. The scholarship is nonrenewable but repeat applications can be considered.                                

Weier, Monsignor Herbert Scholarship Program
Awards two renewable $500 scholarships to graduating seniors at Divine Child High School who demonstrate financial need, character and good academic performance.

Women's Independence Scholarship Program
Targets women who have survived intimate partner abuse and has been separated from their abuser for more than one year.  Applicants must have a defined plan to update skills for career advancement or to train for a new field or re-enter the job market.  Candidates must have sought services from a non-profit domestic violence agency for a minimum of six consecutive months and that the agency is willing to continue mentorship throughout her education.

Writing Awards--University of Michigan-Dearborn
UM-Dearborn students are encouraged to submit their best work to be considered for a writing award.  This year's categories are: Poetry, Fiction, Researched Writing, Creative Non-Fiction, Writing Through Image and Sound, Writing in the Public Sphere, First-Year Writing, Honors Writing, an Scientific/Techinical Writing.  Online submissions for writing.  Deadline: May 1st.

Xerox Technical Minority Scholarships

Young, Coleman A. Foundation
Provides ten renewal scholarships of $5,000 and have an extensive mentoring program.  Candidates must have overcome a significant hardship and might be unlikely to attend college without this support.  Deadline March 13th.

Young & Free Michigan Scholarship
Scholarship opportunities for UM-Dearborn students for completing the online application and creating a video to enter.  Scholarships are from $3,000, $5,000 and $10,000.  The deadline is February 10th at noon. Three Sentence Essay Contest offers weekly essay contests to high school and college students.  Winners are awarded $1,000.
