ECEC Garden Project
This past spring the ECEC launched a garden beautification project! We collaborated with families to paint pickets with their children and built a fence around the garden. This cultivated a space for children to engage with nature and connect to all curriculum areas, including art, science, math, literacy, and social studies.
We soon after added a lending library to the garden! The ECEC staff helped to build, paint, and design the lending library. This is a great way for children to engage in more reading opportunities and for the ECEC community to come together.

Take Evergreen Rd. South to Michigan Ave. East to the Southfield Fwy. South exit. Take the Southfield Fwy. South to Rotunda Dr. exit. Turn right onto Rotunda Dr. The Early Childhood Education Center is located on the left hand side of the road.
