Creating Connections and Community at UM-Dearborn

We are proud to unite the campus and foster connections, bringing together our students, faculty and staff and the community as we provide services as well as space to study, gather, meet, and eat. University Unions & Events meets these needs by providing communal union space, conference space and dining spaces primarily in the James C. Renick University Center and the Fairlane Center. 

Our service areas include:

• Meeting & event spaces and audio/visual services 
• Catering and retail dining services through UM-Dearborn Dining by Picasso Restaurant Group
• Mcard / Photo ID services for students, faculty, and staff
• The Union at Dearborn Leasing & Housing Options
• Barnes & Noble Bookstore
• University of Michigan Credit Union
• Quiet study room locations: Fairlane Center North & South
• ATM locations: James C. Renick University Center Atrium, Fairlane Center South near Picasso Deli, Union at Dearborn/Victors Den

We also manage the Information Services Center located in the James C. Renick University Center on our main campus and information station at Fairlane Center North where one of our staff members can provide you accurate and timely information about campus resources, services, and events.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS HOURS UPDATE

On December 23, University Unions and Events and the Renick University Center will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. On December 24, we will be open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. UUE and the rest of the University of Michigan-Dearborn will be closed from December 25 until Thursday, January 2.

January 2 & 3 Building Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

January 4 & 5 Building Hours: CLOSED

We will return to regular building hours on January 6.
