Criminology & Criminal Justice 4+1 Option
Earn your bachelor’s and master’s in five years, and save time and tuition.
The Criminology & Criminal Justice 4+1 accelerated option allows qualified UM-Dearborn undergraduates majoring in Criminology & Criminal Justice or Sociology to earn both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice in an accelerated format.
You can double-count up to 16 credits of graduate-level (500-level) coursework toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees. After completing your bachelor’s degree, you'll need one additional year (15–16 credits) to finish the master’s program, allowing you to earn two degrees in just five years.
