CASL offers or supports a number of special academic programs. Some are aimed at particular groups of students, while others are available to anyone. All of them seek to enhance the student’s experience at UM-Dearborn—whether inside the classroom, outside the classroom or both.

Rooted in the power of a liberal arts and sciences education, our programs develop the critical thinking, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills employers value most. Students can explore majors and minors, interdisciplinary pathways, research opportunities, internships, and accelerated 4+1 programs, preparing them to adapt, lead, and succeed in a rapidly changing world.
