Unique CASL Facilities
The Archaeology Lab is the site of research programs, archaeological collections, and teaching.
CASL Media Studio, primarily serving Journalism and Media Production and Campus Media Services, is a fully equipped, flexible production space for producing live three-camera television and news, green screen compositing, narrative film shoots, and new media applications.
The Israelite House of David Digital Arts Lab is a state-of-the-art iMac lab equipped with multimedia editing tools and equipment for creative projects.
The GAM Lab is a state-of-the-art computer lab used to teach Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, spatial analyses, geospatial data management, and cartographic principles.
The Kochoff Foreign Language Media Lab was developed to enhance the student language learning experience.
Merritt Geode Collection: West Bloomfield resident Bernard Merritt donated a highly valued mineral, geode and fossil collection.
The mission of the UM-Dearborn Observatory is to promote the understanding and advancement of astronomy for the benefit of the people of southeastern Michigan.
Faculty may reserve the Science Computer Lab for classes or labs. Students are welcome to use the Science Computer Lab during Science Learning Center hours when no classes are scheduled.
