Field placements allow for each learner to build skills, knowledge, and confidence in their own pathway toward becoming a professional educator in real-world placements.
The College of Education, Health, and Human Services Field Placement Office handles all assignments for clinical experiences in Education and Health and Human Services programs.

Field placement within Education programs and courses may be in the form of 1-credit practicums, in-class service learning, 3-credit apprenticeships, 3-credit internships, and one semester student teaching. These courses require specific clearances and paperwork to be on file in the Office of Student Success before students can enter their placements.
