The Humanities/History Internship offers a variety of fieldwork experiences designed to advance your career decisions and goals.

We provide placements for academic credit in such fields as Communications/PR/Social Media, Film/Broadcast/Journalism, History/Philosophy/Law, Museum Studies/Art Administration, International Studies, and more.

Whether you appear at our office door with clear aspirations or utter confusion, we are here to help set you off on the path toward a fulfilling career.

Students who elect 3 credit hours work 8 hours per week (112 hours total) for one semester. They work on a regular schedule, unless the placement approves an equivalent arrangement. Students who elect 6 credit hours work 16 hours per week (224 hours total) for one semester. Students may take up to six credits in one semester, and up to 12 total credits of internship.

*All office hours are virtual for the winter and summer 2021 semesters.*

Our office will not be open for on campus office hours for the Winter and Summer 2021 semesters. Please visit for drop-in Zoom hours or to make an appointment. Or you can reach out to Liz Clark at
