Greenhouse

The Department of Natural Sciences maintains an approximately 900 square-foot complex composed of three connected greenhouses. The greenhouse complex houses a plant specimen collection consisting of more than 350 plant species belonging to 83 different plant families. The space includes several zones, including a seating area (the relaxation zone) by the main entrance that leads to several different plant zones which include cacti and succulents, ferns, tropical plants, orchids, foliage plants, pollinator-friendly plants, edible plants, and medicinal plants. The two smallest greenhouse rooms are designated primarily for teaching and research activities.

Visit the greenhouse complex at 1116 NSBS. It is open to the public Monday to Friday from 9 am - 3 pm.
