Graduate Recognition and Doctoral Pinning Ceremony
Our doctoral programs require students to pass several rigorous examinations to advance throughout learning. Qualifying exams measure a student’s readiness to advance beyond coursework into candidacy. Candidacy is the stage during which doctoral students conduct independent research under the direction of a faculty advisor. Doctoral candidates are recognized for their advancement with an annual ceremony alongside students and/or organizations who have achieved distinction for their efforts.
