What: Join Grace Henning, Director of Admissions & Communications, for a virtual small group advising appointment. Director Henning will go over what the admissions committee looks at in applications, the LSAT, what you need to prepare for the application, and Detroit Mercy Law programs. You'll have the chance to ask questions live or submit questions through your registration.

This event is relevant for all those planning to apply to law school soon, especially those applying in the fall of 2024.
LSAT Preparation Workshop
When: Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Where: CASL Building Room 1012
What: The LSAT is one of the most important parts of a law school application. For some schools, it is the most important. A lot of students do not prepare for it correctly, and this results in scores below what those students are capable of achieving. Don’t let this happen to you! At this workshop, we are going to be talking a lot about how to go about creating an LSAT preparation plan that will allow you to maximize your score.
University of Michigan Law Day
When: Thursday, October 9th, 2024, 11:00 AM-2:00 PM
Where: Michigan Union (530 S State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109)
What: This event is open to students from all schools (be sure to bring your student ID!) and features representatives from a large number of law schools. This is a great opportunity to learn more about specific programs, get application and financial aid information, and get tips on personal statements, extracurricular activities, letters of reference, and more!
Discover Detroit Mercy Law Day
When: Friday, October 18, 2024
Where: Detroit Mercy Law School
What: Prospective students will have the opportunity to take a mock law class and hear from members of UD-Mercy Law's admissions office about the different programs offered and tips for the application in addition to taking a tour of the building and meeting current students.
